The truth is, there’s more to it than it may seem at first glance. The diagram in figure 9.6 provides a good visualization of what I mean. The Group class is also an important piece of the Spark library because it provides an alternative for developing custom components that don’t carry the load of the skinning features and are more lightweight as a result.
