19.4. Using RichFaces with Seam
RichFaces works out of the box with Seam. There is very little configuration needed. You just need to include the RichFaces JARs and declare the rich: namespace in your XHTML files so that you can use those components.
The richfaces-impl.jar and richfaces-ui.jar files must be included in app.war/WEB-INF/lib, and the richfaces-api.jar file needs to be in EAR’s lib path:
