11.1.1. Enterprise integration challenges

Enterprise integration is a set of techniques and practices for connecting enterprise applications. Most of the time, these applications don’t share the same data, don’t use the same technologies internally, or don’t even run on the same network. Despite these differences, these applications need to communicate to fulfill business requirements.
