23.5. Summary

In this chapter, we have shown you how to prepare your application and your server for deployment. A number of features are available that make deployment a consistent and repeatable process, such as configuration transformation and database deployment.

We also demonstrated three different techniques for performing the deployment. We recommend that you use either deployment packages or one-click publishing so that you don't have to remember to change configuration options manually when deploying.
