Safari Books Online is a digital library providing on-demand subscription access to thousands of learning resources.
In this workshop, you will update a Microsoft Project file and store it in a document library. You will need to use Microsoft Project Standard or Professional 2010.
For fields and settings that aren’t mentioned in the workshop steps, accept the default settings. Here are the steps:
Launch Microsoft Project.
Select File?Open.
Open the file My Documents\Project Files\Project Dojo.mpp.
As the project manager, you will be tracking the project schedule using the Microsoft Project schedule that you have created. Your resources will be entering their status updates from the Project Tasks list we created earlier.
Select task 2, then click Task?Mark on Track?Update Tasks.
