Item 97. Use CPAN Testers as your QA team

The CPAN Testers (http://cpantesters.org/) is an ad-hoc group of volunteers who automatically and programmatically test every upload to CPAN.

They use a variety of Perl versions, some quite old, and a variety of operating systems and setups. Once they test a distribution, they upload their results, and also send them to the distribution author (Item 68). Some people set up their CPAN toolchains to use CPAN::Reporter so they upload test reports for every module that they install.
