Internet Information Services (IIS) and Active Server Pages (ASP)

Windows 2000 is a fully Web-aware operating system. Internet Information Services (IIS 5.0), formerly called Internet Information Server, is now a built-in Web server. IIS 5.0 runs as a set of enterprise services within Windows 2000.

In this section, I will introduce you to IIS and its server-side scripting technology, Active Server Pages (ASP).
