Bottom of page 404....produces a 'Variable 'objRandom' is used before it has been assigned a variable.  A null reference exception could result at runtime' error message.  Don't see any corrections on this site, and the downloaded book code does not include Hour 18 for some reason.  Can't recommend a book with bad code.

Overall a very good book but never mentioned printing. Almost all Visual Basic books are light on that subject. Also the coverage of Group Boxes was touched on very lightly. They can be very difficult to use but I have used them in very useful ways.

As I work my way through Hour 4, I begin to get a feel for this VB version.  Ideas for the project I have in mind begin to jell and the tools to accomplish them begin to fade into my mind.  This is not my first brush with VB; my last time was at least 10 years ago and it was a much more difficult learning curve.  This book and it's online access has helped me greatly.  I recommend this book to all folks who have at least a brushing familiarity with programming and a desire to do something specific with their newly invested skills.
