Creating an Online Press Room

Back in Chapter 9, “B2B Website Marketing,” we discussed all the different parts of an ideal B2B website. As you recall one of my recommendations is to create an online press room, where the members of the press media can visit to find things they can use to spice up their press release coverage—images, videos, corporate bios, and, of course, press releases.

Instead of waiting for a journalist to request a particular photo and then snail-mailing or emailing that particular item, you can place all your available media for the press in a dedicated section of your website—an online press room, as it were. This makes it easier for print and online journalists to find key company information and all the picture and media files they need.
