This is where you’ll find specialty items, weird parts, and items that are specific to a particular application. This appendix is divided into two sections: staples and extras. The “Staples” section includes the microcontrollers, software, and basic electronic vendors needed for physical computing projects of all types. The “Extras” section includes all the vendors of sensors, motors, and other electronic systems and software. Both sections are divided up into hardware and software. The “Staples” section divides hardware into microcontrollers and electronic parts.
