Use Teachable Moments

Teachable moments occur frequently and unexpectedly as the team works and converses together. They naturally arise and create a backdrop for just the right learning at just the right time. Use teachable moments well and lightly. Don’t use them to launch into a retraining or to introduce a whole new area. Remember, the team’s job in the sprint is to sprint! When you take advantage of a teachable moment, teach just enough to convey the lesson without impacting the team’s momentum.
