My company asked me to step into the role of Scrum Master leading and coaching this Agile methodology in a very large (over 30 people) core team. None of the team have every been in a Scrum methodology project so we are all learning as we go. No training has been provided so I am educating everyone. This has been a huge workload increase in attempting to determine what to point people to and what not -- no one person has the same experiance and skill level. Along with on-line videos, white papers and this book we made it through our 2 week Sprint. OK -- survived and learned a lot so the retrospective was rich with feedback. I go to this book all the time and looking or another book specific to the Scrum Master role so that I can do on the job training (ok -- reading a ton after normal work hours). I can summarize it as I am drinking from a fire hydrant hose which as been turned full on.

This is by far the best book about Scrum that I've ever read. It covers the complete spectrum and the creative use of the icon figures makes processes and roles clear and easy to understand.
