Chapter 8. Extending Lotus Connections to Other Applications

Lotus Connections’ value as a set of standalone social networking tools has been covered in the previous chapters of this book. These include features such as Communities, Activities, Dogear, Profiles, and Blogs. In addition, Lotus Connections can serve as a platform for integrating social collaboration capabilities into other products.

This chapter discusses the out-of-the-box integration capabilities that ship with Lotus Connections version 2.0.1.
