Summary

In this chapter, we looked at both EAS and third-party MDM solutions as ways to manage a deployment of iOS devices like the iPad. We looked at what EAS is capable of doing, and contrasted that with the more advanced features and management capabilities of the Apple iOS MDM APIs implemented through various third-party vendors. Since most of the vendors' products do basically the same thing, we also covered the primary areas of differentiation between the different products and vendors.
