He has participated in the Global Grid Forum Marketing Awareness Council (GMAC) and is a member of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

Christian holds an MBA in technology management and a bachelor of arts degree in marketing. He is currently pursuing a PhD in social informatics.

Darren Pulsipher has a rich background in software development and implementation, IT service and support, and strategic business operations. He is considered an expert in optimizing software development and improving management processes to decrease resource reliance while increasing product quality. As a result, he has been tapped on numerous occasions to consult with Fortune 500 companies on software development best practices. He holds 12 patents covering grid technologies, statistical graph modeling, and distributed fault tolerant systems. His 15 years of experience cover a wide range of industries, including network marketing, biotechnology, telecommunications, financial services, and electronic design automation. Much of this experience has been in the international arena with special focus in Europe and South America.

Representative of career accomplishments was his experience with Cadence Design Systems, the world’s largest supplier of electronic design technologies and engineering services with annual revenues of $1.2 billion. As chief architect of grid strategies, Darren introduced tools and processes that reduced automated build and test system cycles by 60 percent. This resulted in a companywide savings of more than $15 million in hard costs, $30 million in soft costs, and more than 500,000 personnel hours.

Active in the international standards community, Darren has contributed to the Unified Modeling Language (UML) standard from the OMG, has been a primary contributor to the NPi standards organization, has presented at a number of conferences around the world, and been chair of three different groups in the Global Grid Forum (NPI-WG, JSDL-WG, and Policy-RG). He is also a member and contributor to the Global Grid Forum Marketing Awareness Council (GMAC). Darren holds an MBA in technology management and a bachelor of science degree in computer science.

Kendall Scott is a recognized expert in the UML. He has produced seven books related to the subject, including the best-selling UML Distilled, Second Edition (Addison-Wesley, 1999). He offers training and mentoring about the UML and the Rational Unified Process (RUP); his particular expertise lies in the gathering, analyzing, and negotiating of requirements using use cases and domain modeling.
