PowerBuilder 9.0's new feature that allows developers to create client applications for any J2EE-compliant EJB server opens up a whole new spectrum of potential. By abstracting the complexities of the Java programming environment without sacrificing its capabilities, developers can now merge the rapid application development environment and rich client capabilities that PowerBuilder provides with the robust, standardized, and vendor-neutral EJB component model adopted by many third-party application server vendors.
