Conflict, oh no! Can’t we just figure out a way to avoid conflict on our projects? The answer is, no. And even if you could eliminate it, you wouldn’t want to. People do not have conflict over things they do not care about. So with conflict comes energy and passion. An effective project leader directs that energy in a way that can Vitalize people (the “V” in DRIVER) to get the job done—that is, to steer your GOCART-S across the finish line as a winner.
