The project is finished. The end result has met the stakeholder requirements, and it came in on time and within budget. Now it is time to move on to the next project. But wait, not so fast. How do you know if the IT project has met the greatest goal of all: adding value to the business? Can the project manager unequivocally show that the business problem that spawned the project has been addressed and resolved?
