Printing to Tape

If you have a recording device connected, you can choose to print to tape. When you use a compatible camera or deck, Premiere can activate your deck automatically. You can even choose where on the tape to start recording, if you can provide a timecode number at the start time. Typically, you use a black and coded tape—a tape with a black video signal and timecode.

The following example uses a DV camera as the recording device. Options may vary according to your hardware.
