Editing with Avid Xpress Pro requires a good deal more than just the software. This chapter covers the Windows and Macintosh computer system requirements for your editing suite, as well as requirements and recommendations for other hardware devices.

Usually, the day you take Xpress Pro out of the box will not be the day you start editing, unless you're a real whiz at this stuff. So allow some time for connecting, testing, and a little head scratching.
