Problem 2: Keyboard Shortcuts Are Not Working in the Capture Window

You are capturing some footage and you press the Spacebar, but capture does not stop. You try pressing the J, K, and L keys, but they do not engage or adjust playback.

Solution: The odds are likely that you have begun to edit information in the logging fields of the Capture window. When you start to add text in these fields, you engage the keyboard to manipulate the text values, as opposed to the keyboard shortcuts of the Capture window. Simply click in the blank spaces around the text fields or click directly in the Capture window to take focus away from the text. If all else fails, click on any of the transport controls to drive capture the way you like.
