Chapter 11. Creating Menus > Modifying Scene Marker Buttons

Modifying Scene Marker Buttons

One of the benefits of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs is the ability to jump quickly to specific scenes in a movie. For each scene marker you add in the Timeline, Premiere Elements automatically generates a Scene Marker button on the Scenes menu. If the template has image thumbnails on the Scenes menu, as the menu you’re working with does, Premiere Elements automatically assigns an image thumbnail to it. You can customize the appearance of a Scene Marker button by providing a name for the label and changing the image thumbnail used to identify the scene. Note that if you have more scene markers than scenes on a Scenes menu, Premiere Elements creates additional Scenes menu pages and navigational buttons to jump back and forth between the pages.

Changing Button Labels and Image Thumbnails

Let’s begin by opening the Scenes menu.
