Add Music or Sound Effects

Adding music or sound effects to your project is very similar to other media types, like photos or footage. You can import them into an Event (like any other asset) and organize the media with keywords for ease of use. You can also add the content to iTunes and let it manage the assets.

Let’s explore the Music and Sound Browser:

1. Click the Music and Sound button in the toolbar.

You’ll find a number of folders that include built-in sound effects. The number will vary depending on what other software is installed on your computer. You can also click iTunes to browse your music library or GarageBand to hear songs you’ve created and shared to the Media Browser.

2. Choose a category folder in the top area of the window.
