Creating Smart Collections of Synced Footage
Back in Chapter 4, “Organizing Your Media,” you learned about Smart Collections. This is a perfect time to revisit that technology. You can make a Smart Collection for all of your synchronized clips so that they’re easier to find.
Here’s how to save time with a Smart Collection.
1. Type synchronized into the Search field to filter your view and only see synchronized clips.
2. Click the Filter button (the small magnifying glass to the left of the search field). The Filter window appears.
3. Click the New Smart Collection button to create a Smart Collection. A new Smart Collection icon labeled “Untitled” will appear to the left in the Event Library.
4. Select the new Smart Collection and give it a proper name, such as Synchronized Clips.
