Here are some tips you can apply to shooting particular types of scenes, from sports to video portraits to zoos.

Sports

Sports is such a natural subject for video. The action of any sport is something that is implied in still photography. But with video you can experience all of the action. However, because sports are so common on television, people have certain expectations of what they will see in your video. They are not going to expect you to match ESPN in coverage of a local soccer game, but they will expect certain things, including lots of action, close-ups of that action, and shots of the players and coaches involved.
