16. Write Your Congressperson

I cannot tell you that your congressperson cares what you have to say—that's between you and your representative. All I can tell you is that you can easily learn online exactly who your congressperson is (admit it—you don't know, do you?), and you can write to him or her.

An easy way to start is to go to the House of Representatives Web site, at www.house.gov (see Figure 24.17). Click the link to Write Your Representative, and a form appears on which you can enter your mailing address to learn the name, email address, and even Web site address of your representative.
