Arranging to Pay Your Fees

If you intend to sell items on eBay, you'll have to pay eBay for that privilege. In particular, eBay charges a listing fee when you post an item for auction, and a final value fee when you sell an item. These fees are charged automatically to your account—which is why you have to choose an appropriate method of payment when you create your eBay seller's account. In particular, you need to provide eBay with either your credit card or checking account number for direct withdrawal of all your eBay fees. You can also choose to pay your eBay fees by check or money order, although it's somewhat of a hassle and not encouraged.
