As always, I thank God first and foremost for desiring a personal relationship with each of us and for inspiring me to share with you, my readers, how we can draw closer to each other through web-enabled programs and services.

I also want to thank my family for chronicling their thoughts, fears, joys, and ennui (sometimes all in the same day) on a variety of social media sites. Their posts keep me reminded continually that web-enabled programs and services have become the twenty-first century equivalent of the diary, the party line, and the front porch.
