This book is an excellent resource for beginners. It offers clear, concise introductions to both wordpress.com and wordpress.org and the differences between the two.
The sections are laid out with common sense in mind and the chapters are long enough to be meaty; but short enough to be read in one sitting. Each chapter is designed so that you can easily follow along on screen, seeing what the author is writing about as you learn.
