    Downloading Evernote

    After you create your Evernote account and learn the basics of using Evernote for the web, you’ll want to download Evernote to your computer or mobile device so that you can take notes anywhere, anytime. Evernote offers a number of versions for free download:

    • Windows

    • Mac OS X

    • iPhone and iPod touch

    • iPad

    • Android

    • Android Tablet

    • Windows Phone 7

    • BlackBerry

    • Blackberry PlayBook

    • Pal Pre/Palm Pixi

    The download process varies slightly, depending on whether you’re downloading for a Windows PC, a Mac, or a mobile device.

    Downloading Helpful Extras

    You can also download additional Evernote utilities, such as Evernote Peek or the Evernote Web Clipper. Evernote Peek is a special app available for iPad 2 users who have a Smart Cover, enabling users to quiz themselves on information offered by various iPad 2 applications. The Web Clipper enables you to easily grab information from web pages that fascinate you and add them seamlessly to your Evernote notebook, complete with tags and the web address where you found the information.
