    Starting an Ink Note

    Creating an ink note in Evernote is as simple as starting any kind of new note. The difference comes in the way you add content to the note page. With ink, you will select a pen style; choose a color and thickness; and draw, sketch, or write your note on the page.

    If you plan to use a drawing tablet or a touch-based tablet to add ink notes in Evernote, you may want to calibrate your tablet or set up your pen and touch capabilities before you begin creating notes.

    You’ll find what you need in the Hardware and Sound area of the Control Panel. Click Start and then Click Control Panel. Finally, click Hardware and Sound to display your options.

    In the Tablet PC Settings of the Hardware and Sound category of the Control Panel, you can configure your device so that it responds accurately to the way you use the pen or touch the screen. You can also change the settings for left- or right-handed use.
