7. Grabbing Web Clippings and Webcam Notes

Clip the information you find on the web and add it to your notes pages; you can also take notes using your webcam and include them in your notebooks. In this chapter, you learn how to clip notes from the web and capture your own webcam notes by completing the following tasks:

As you’ve been learning throughout this book, Evernote makes it easy for you to grab information that inspires you and save it for later, whether you’re using your PC, browser, or mobile device. Grabbing information from the web is a no-brainer; of course you’ll find stories, pictures, designs, and more you will want to save to your note pages.

Although you can simply copy and paste information from a web page to your note, Evernote provides a tool called the Web Clipper that enables you to clip content and paste it directly on your pages. The great benefit here is that Evernote maintains the link to the site so that you can always go back to the site if you like or include the source URL whenever you use the information in a document or share it with others.
