Chapter 10. Creating Your Online Lifestream

Want to talk about being on the cutting edge of online media? Lifestreaming is the latest facet of social media and blogging. It is so “latest” that I’ve changed how I’ve approached the topic a couple times just in the month this chapter was in development. Once you discard the hyperbole and buzzwords, the idea of a lifestream is really simple: It is the sum total of all the content that you produce online. Your blog(s), pictures, podcasts, bookmarks from social bookmarking sites, favorite songs, and even updates from Twitter. By creating a home for your lifestream, you are creating a place that becomes a digital hub for you and your readers.
