Selling your own merchandise is only one way to make money on eBay. One of the newest types of eBay businesses exists to sell other people’s merchandise. These so-called eBay resellers or drop-off stores—officially known as eBay Trading Assistants—help non-eBay users sell their goods on eBay, by taking them on consignment and then reselling the items via normal eBay auction. The Trading Assistant handles the entire auction process, from taking photos and listing the item to handling payment and shipping the merchandise. The client doesn’t have to bother with the whole eBay process, and the Trading Assistant earns a percentage of the final selling price. Everybody wins!
