Four Steps to Setting Up a Hosted Blog at WordPress
The easiest type of blog to set up is the hosted type, and by following these instructions, you will see just how easy it really is. If you can create a Hotmail or Gmail e-mail account, you can build a blog!
1. Go to http://wordpress.com/signup (shown in Figure 3-6).
2. Choose a name for your blog—for example, blog.wordpress.com. The first part of your blog’s web address will be the username you use to log in. WordPress will suggest a related domain name and offer to let you register it for a fee, or you can continue with the free option.
