  • Do the research first and figure out how you can be useful to your customers, know what your strategy is. This will be different for every brand.
  • Know how your business internally will resource a campaign and deal with issues. Expect to make some mistakes, and be transparent when you do.
  • Ask customers what they want and don’t take yourselves too seriously – nothing is worse than a brand that shouts about themselves all the time.
