I strongly believe that businesses today benefit from direct interaction with both existing and potential customers in the social space. However, it is important that companies listen first and understand where their customers are online and what their needs are before engaging with them. When engaging in conversations, it is essential to “be real” and to connect in a transparent manner and only when value can be added to the conversation.
