Creating attractive slides

By far the most important aspect of delivering a great presentation is in the way the speaker structures and communicates the content. We have all sat through dry, boring, monotonous talks, and many of you will have seen fun, interesting, and vibrant talks.

What is also important in delivering a great presentation is creating slides that support what you are saying effectively. Unfortunately, over the years many presenters have treated their slides almost like an entirely different entity to the content they are talking about. Remember, though, that the purpose of the slides is to visualize and simplify the understanding of the content you are discussing. In other words, what you say and the slides you show should knit together like those mittens your grandma used to give you when you were six years old and had a bowl haircut.
