Color Choices
Whenever you need to specify a color in Director—to paint a new cast member in the Paint or Vector Shape window, for example—you make the selection from the color menu.
To choose a color to work with:

Select a cast member or sprite. |

Open a window or tool with access to a color menu. Any tools with foreground and background color chips (Figure 9.18) can access the color menu. You can find a color menu in the Property Inspector when a sprite is selected; in the Tool Palette; and in the Score, Vector Shape, or Paint window. Figure 9.18. Click the foreground or background color chip. The color menu opens. |
