Who do we need?

It’s important to ensure the involvement of four key groups of participants:

• Core project team

• Senior business stakeholders

• Point experts/subject matter experts (SMEs)

• Customers

Getting the right people in the same room at the same time is one of the defining characteristics of the agile experience design and is critical to its success.

A single individual may belong to more than one of these groups. Given the commitment we’re expecting from the participants, it’s important to give them adequate advance notice so they can clear their schedules. Better for them to be free and then we politely inform them that they are no longer required than them not being available when their presence would be critical.
