Customizing Data by Updating Module Layout Files in Dreamweaver

Earlier in this chapter you learned how to update the layout files using the Admin Console. Although it’s possible to make small changes, we don’t recommend using the online editor in the Admin Console to edit the source code. Generally speaking, you’ll use the more robust HTML editing features in Dreamweaver to modify the HTML and CSS styles in layouts, to leverage the WYSIWYG interface and take advantage of code hinting, the Code Navigator, and the CSS Styles panel as you work. As you design the appearance of layout files, you can also insert tag attributes to control the display of data related to each module.
