Dreamweaver CS5.5’s New Tools

As noted, Dreamweaver CS5.5 is the flagship of Creative Suite’s Web toolkit, and it is where the radical changes have taken place in Web design with Creative Suite. I’ll discuss other new enhancements in CS5.5 for the Web at the end of this update, but Dreamweaver CS5.5 is where the big-time changes have taken place.

Those changes reflect, respond to, and contribute to two radical developments in Web design: HTML5 and the growth of mobile apps. Both of these developments were driven by the influence of Apple’s iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch along with the large base of people using mobile devices with Google’s Android mobile operating system.
