Create a Page on a Blog Site

By far, the easiest way to do it is to go to an existing blog site and create a page with your blog. While it may cost you some money, many services are now doing it for free. The blog site will host your blog, help you manage the comments and replies, and even offer some measure of security and confidentiality. All you need to do is set up an account, create your page using one of their template designs, and personalize it as much as you want with colors, photos, etc. Then you are ready to start sharing your opinions to the world. The blog site retains the control (and domain name) of your blog page.

While this is the fastest and easiest way to set up—and maintain—a blog, there are also some disadvantages. For example, it will not be connected to your Web site, domain name, URL, or business name—you are “renting” space on a larger Web site (such as www.myspace.com). If making your blog a part of your Web site is important to you, or if you want to make sure your business name and branding are front and center, create a blog on your own Web site.
