The Markup Structure

Let’s start by thinking about the very basic structure that we’ll need in terms of markup to create the fluid, two-column layout. We’ll employ the “Sliding Faux Columns” technique here that we described in Chapter 8 and use a tiled background image to create the illusion of a full-length sidebar.
