About the Technical Reviewer

Doug Swartzendruber, after earning a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines in 1996, went to work in the aerospace industry as a software engineer for Raytheon. Most of his career there was spent developing satellite command and control software in the C++ language.

An avid video and board game player, Doug's hobbyist work with web development continues to have an emphasis on games. Excited by the new possibilities offered by HTML5, he began working with the canvas and audio objects in late 2009. His web site, DougX.net, showcases some of his applications.
