During the last module, you generated Microsoft HTML Help, an ideal layout if your end-users are running Windows 95 or newer. Microsoft HTML Help is also perfect if you only want to generate a single output file—you need only distribute a single compressed file (CHM) to users. Those users can open the CHM via the HTML Help viewer which is included with Microsoft Windows.

If you need to ensure that your users can view your generated Help project on virtually any computer (Macintosh, PC or UNIX), WebHelp output is one possible answer (FlashHelp and Adobe AIR, which you will learn about soon, are others).
