jPFChat is a popular extension for adding chat functionality to a Joomla! website. Download jPFChat from http://www.jpfchat.com/index.php/downloads. Please note that you need to register to the site to be able to download the jPFChat package. Once downloaded, install it from the Extensions | Install/Uninstall screen.
