All of this is good, but where are all the nice controls that make adding complete grids, menus, and even login screens without having to write a line of HTML so easy?

They all disappeared, because they hid too much of the code rendered on the page. Furthermore, the view should only be an HTML rendering and most of the operations should be possible using only the basic C# statements.
