4.6. Managing Automatic Rules

From version 3.0 onward, you can create rules that are assigned to one or more folders and triggered when content in a given folder is added, removed, or changed.

This feature offers a variety of opportunities and allows you to deeply customize your Plone site behavior. You can create your own rules, match as many conditions as you want for the rule to be triggered, and perform as many actions as you want. It's not easy to put all the potential of this feature into words; it's much easier to experience this tool's power by experimenting with it.
