You’ve worked hard to refine the site, test it with users, and get stakeholder approval, but UX design is only abstract speculation until you launch. Once the site goes live, you’ll quickly learn what works, what doesn’t, and how you can continue to make things better.
As we declared in the manifesto, the undercover UX designer cares about delivery, not deliverables, so you still have plenty of work to do once your designs have been signed off. You’ll need to work with visual designers, content specialists, developers, and project managers to ensure your work becomes a reality. We’ll look at how to support your colleagues as they assemble the site in Chapter 6.
